Privacy Policy for Dashio

Dashio is a privacy-first client for Radarr and Sonarr. We believe that your self-hosted data should remain exactly that: self-hosted.

1. No Data Collection

Dashio does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. We do not use analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising identifiers.

2. Local Storage of Credentials

All sensitive information, including your server URLs and API keys, is stored locally on your device. Dashio only uses this information to communicate directly with your specified instances.

3. Direct Communication

All traffic occurs directly between the Dashio app and your server. There is no "middleman" server. We strongly recommend using HTTPS or a VPN (such as Tailscale or Wireguard) to secure these connections.

4. Permissions

• Local Network: Used to communicate with servers on your home Wi-Fi.
• Notifications: Used to alert you to download completions (triggered by your server).

5. Third-Party Services

Dashio does not share any data with third parties. If you use a third-party service to host your Radarr or Sonarr instances, please refer to their respective privacy policies.

6. International Compliance

Dashio is designed to be compliant with global privacy regulations, including the GDPR. Because we do not store your data, you remain the sole owner and controller of your information.
